Year 3 and 4

In Years 3 and 4, our children are exploring exciting and engaging topics that spark their curiosity and imagination. This term, they are diving into the fascinating world of the Anglo-Saxons, discovering how people lived, worked, and built communities in the past, and exploring Modern Europe, learning about different countries, cultures, and traditions. We bring these topics to life through hands-on activities, creative projects, and interactive learning experiences, so children don’t just read about history and geography—they experience it.

Following the British curriculum, we also make sure children build essential skills every day. They practice their weekly spellings, times tables, and literacy skills, and we integrate these into their topic work whenever possible, helping them see the connections between subjects. Our approach is all about making learning meaningful, fun, and memorable, encouraging children to think critically, ask questions, and develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

At Oakwood, Years 3 and 4 is a place where children can explore, create, and grow in confidence, working together with friends and teachers in a supportive, welcoming environment. Every lesson is designed to inspire curiosity and wonder, and we take pride in providing experiences that children will remember long after they leave the classroom. If you’re looking for a school where your child can thrive academically, socially, and creatively, Oakwood British School’s Years 3 & 4 is the perfect place to start the journey.
